Are you passionate about languages and eager to inspire the next generation of linguists? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our vibrant and successful Modern Foreign Languages department.

We are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Local Governing Board. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chair of Governors and other colleagues to provide a first-class clerking service to ensure the efficient functioning of the governing board and its committees.

As clerk to the governing board, your main duties will include:

  • Providing independent and expert advice to the governing board on its duties and functions.
  • Preparing for and administrating meetings, allowing the governors to make effective use of their time and focus on strategic matters.
  • Advise governors on effective governing board membership considering skills, experience, qualities and capacity.
  • Maintaining records of policies and procedural documents and ensure these are accessible to all.
  • Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements observing confidentiality where necessary.
