School Council
Our school council at BTG represent student voice in the school. The school council was elected from Y7-Y13 by their peers at the start of the year and hold this position of responsibility for the academic year. The school council allow pupils to have a real say in issues that affect them and therefore our pupils know that their opinions count.

School Council Aims
- To gather the students' views on all aspects of school life by liaising Form Reps/Pupils in their forms and the staff members they are attached to.
- To represent students' views at School Council meetings so that these can be fed back to both students and SLT members.
- Students have specific area they can feed back on but they also can help to identify other areas of school, which would benefit from improvement.
- To raise with the student body, issues which are a cause of concern
- To represent the student body in meetings with visitors
What the School Council did Last Year
- Review of the school canteen service
- Uniform Review (School trousers brought for all students in Year 7-11)
- Reviewed all area of safety in our school.
- School rewards were reviewed
- Helped plan and assisted in the Christmas fair.
